The Post-Yin Sound Bath: Sink into the wonderfully meditative world of sound.
Every 3rd Tuesday of the month!
Join Mona from Sound Interventions in a post-Yin sound bath with quartz crystal bowls, singing bowl, gongs and various other sound tools. Listen deeply with the whole body and let the vibrations move through you, as sounds wash over you.
Highly recommended but not compulsory: Join the Yin class before the sound bath (starting at 6:45pm) for a deeper journey into the body and mind.
When:Tuesday 13 November (6:45pm for Yin, 8pm for the sound bath)

Cost:$30 for non-members $20 for members. Please note the Yin class before is optional and not included in the price. To attend both, please register for that class as well (normal class rates apply).
What you need: No prior experience in Yoga or sound required, all props will be provided. Mats can be rented for $2 if you don’t have one.
What is a Sound Bath?
Sound immersions may transport a person to a state of self-healing. With alleged therapeutic effects, gongs are believed to be ‘useful for relieving mild-moderate anxiety, stress and pain on the physical, mental and emotional levels and used as a tool for deep relaxation and meditation.’
Sound baths are purported to produce positive physiological responses in a listener as it is believed that ‘sound vibrations act to clear channels of transport within the cell, facilitating the movement of energy across the cell membrane and making it easier for cells to receive nourishment.’
